August - September 2024 – Vishwaguruji spent the end of August and part of September with his devotees in Europe.

Strilky, Czechia

Upon his arrival in Europe at the end of August, Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwaranandaji joined his devotees and seminar participants in the second part of the Summer Yoga Retreat in Mahaprabhudip Ashram, Střílky, Czech Republic.

Swami Avatarpuriji, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Phulpuriji, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vivekpuriji and many other accomplished yoga teachers, shared their experience and knowledge with the seminar group through their lectures, guided sadhana, exercises programs and satsangs; and the eagerly awaited arrival and darshan (presence) of Gurudev gave the three-week seminar a golden ending.

A particularly special event that further enhanced the seminar, took place on 28 August 2024 – presentation of the first part of Vishwaguruji's long-awaited autobiography 'Yoga in My Daily Life' . 

Levoča, Slovakia

After the Czech Republic, Vishwaguruji also visited Levoča, a small town in Slovakia, where he has recently often been a guest at beautiful satsangs in the purity of nature. 

Vienna, Austria

Whenever he is in Europe, Vishwaguruji spends part of his time in his second home base, in Vienna, Austria, which was also his first destination when he left India to teach Yoga in Daily Life in the Western world. Vishwaguruji's darshan and satsangs in Guruji Ashram in Vienna, after arrival, before going back to India and between other events, were a special opportunity for Viennese and other Austrian devotees, as well as disciples from neighbouring countries.

Salzburg, Austria

September 12 - 13, 2024 – 50 years of Vishwaguruji and Yoga in Daily Life in Salzburg

Vishwaguruji has been coming to Salzburg for 50 years and he has held countless seminars, lectures and satsangs there. He is the reason why a yoga group was formed and an ashram was created in 2009. He received honours from the city and state of Salzburg for his services to the people of Salzburg.

The first day of celebrations was accompanied by Swami Avatarpuriji and included a video call with Swami Premanandaji, live from India (originally from Salzburg). A slide show presentation offered a look into the 50-year history of the yoga group, with pictures of activities and events from the past years: exciting world peace festivals, charity flea markets, the planting of wild fruit trees, interreligious peace prayers, International Yoga Days, yoga in the park, and many other beautiful memories.

To great joy for the Salzburg YIDL group, Vishwaguruji was present on the second day of festivities. In the beginning, everyone enjoyed a performance by Bhakti Devi, performing classical Bharatanatyam dances. Young yogis participated in the celebration with a spiritual story and a video clip, with moving words and songs giving everything a special feel.

Vishwaguruji welcomed and blessed each and every participant. In his speech, he said,  “We are all one.” Like the song that was sung, “To leave the sun is the fate of a ray. Wherever you go, whatever you do, still the sun and the ray are one, not two.”

Primošten, Croatia

Croatia also received a blessing in the form of a short visit to Primošten, in the Split region of the Adriatic Coast. The devotees of Split were overjoyed because this beautiful city is many kilometres away from Vienna or Strilky, so Gurudev's darshan is a rare opportunity for them.

Also warmly welcomed to Croatia were Swami Avatarpuriji, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Phulpuriji and Swami Umapuriji.
